Voice Over For Political Spots

I’ve been involved with campaign commercials (or political spots, as they are more commonly known) as a male voice over talent for decades now. Everything from local issue spots and candidates to regional and statewide races and even two presidential campaigns (Clinton/Gore and Ben Carson). I get called on to be more of a straight voice of authority, a teller of a human-interest story, a bit of a tonal rabble-rouser in some messier campaigns and a tough-as-nails spokesman for a law-and-order candidate seeking office to clamp down on crime.

For many years, I worked only one side of the aisle. But, with the reach of the internet making it easier to avoid getting hired for two competing candidates, I’ve spread out a bit.

Here’s a demo reel of stylistic samples.
