I’ve had a long-running relationship where I was providing narrative voiceovers (some with a British accent and some an American accent) for what seemed to be a pretty interesting concept: two teams of guys competing in different tasks. Some really straightforward and some in more interesting contexts. The teams were called the AMP Team and Beta Squad. I hadn’t heard of them outside of that working relationship, but in conversation with one of the younger members of my family (he’s 19), he said, “Yeah, I know those guys. They are really popular on YouTube!!” So, I was today years old when I found that one out…! 😀 Anyway…I did some more work for them recently, and again today. But if you’re interested in a sample that’s online now, here ’tis…and yes, that does say 22 MILLION views!

I did some work today as well for GE Aerospace. Technology is progressing at a freakily high rate of speed now. I can’t even imagine what it’s going to be like when more of technological development has been put in the hands of AI (yes, that’s Artificial Intelligence, not some dude named “Al” (as in Bundy!) 🤪

Another project this week was for the role of a “gnarly old sailor” for a short horror film. I don’t know much more about it than that, but it was a lot of fun buying into that character. While not particularly grisly description-wise, it was quite a depressing account from the only survivor in an encounter (if one could be so optimistic to call it that!) with a sea monster. It felt very much like something out of Moby Dick.

Next up, a promo for a new Ultima Online freeshard. Delivered with my Elderly British Wizard delivery. A lot of fun to do, and the client loved the work!
